the barnesville library breaks ground
CAS Architecture | January 30, 2017
The Flint River Regional Library broke ground on the renovation and expansion of the Barnesville-Lamar County Library. The project consists of a 9,000 sf renovation with a 4,000 sf addition. The library will provide larger children’s and staff work areas, handicapped accessibility, and a multi-purpose room that will serve the community now and in the future. The design focuses on being environmentally friendly and energy efficient while being easy for the end user to maintain. The library is partially funded by a $1.38 million State of Georgia Capital Outlay Grant.
